One little Christmas tree

Our Helensburgh service have been getting into the Christmas spirit by participating in the week-long Christmas Tree Festival run by Helensburgh's United Reformed Church. All the decorations adorning the Key Helensburgh tree were handmade by people attending our local Arts Group. So it's been a busy time for them as they've worked hard to make sure their tree is as pretty as a picture. As you will see from the photo, they nailed it!

The festival is an annual event and encourages local community groups and organisations to buy a tree to decorate. All decorated trees are then displayed in the church for a week with plenty of opporunities for visitors to pop in and enjoy the trees and also a  number of musical interludes. The proceeds received from tree purchases and festival visitors then go to nominated good causes.
