Everything we do relies upon the skills and commitment of over 2000 staff. This includes support workers, team leaders, local managers and relief register workers from as far apart as Thurso and Stranraer. Our teams across Scotland work hard every day in people’s homes and communities to enable them to achieve the life they want.

We are supported by our Board as well as staff working in local offices and at our main administrative office at The Square in Glasgow.

The team who oversee the main strategic functions of Key and Community Lifestyles, and represent us at a range of external networks, are:

Andrea Wood (Chief Executive)
Andrea has been with Key since 2006. She has worked in social care for 30 years in a variety of health and social care posts across England and Scotland. She has been active within CCPS (Coalition of Care Providers in Scotland) for a number of years and is a Board member of IRISS (Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services). Andrea also serves as our Company Secretary. Contact Andrea

Gordon Anderson (Head of Housing, Development and Corporate Services)
Gordon has worked for Key for almost 30 years. His qualifications include a degree in social policy and a post graduate diploma in housing studies. Contact Gordon

Sheila Hanney (Head of Staff Development, Policy and Practice)
Sheila has over 23 years' experience in social care in management, staff and service development roles. Contact Sheila

Jean Ramsay (Head of Support)
Jean joined Key in 1998, having previously worked for almost 20 years in Social Work and Social Work Management. Contact Jean

Grace Semple (Head of Human Resources)
Grace has a background in psychology and has worked extensively in human resources roles across the voluntary and private sectors. Contact Grace
