Megan is a Lanarkshire Hero!

Meet Megan, supported by our North Lanarkshire team. She is an ice skating star who has recently been recognised by her local MSP, Fulton MacGregor for her considerable achievements on the rink and how she inspires her local community.
He chose her to be his local hero at the State Opening of the Scottish Parliament in late June. At this Megan was introduced to His Majesty the King and Scottish First Minister, John Swinney MSP.
Megan has competed in many inclusive skating events including the Winter Special Olympics in Folgaria (Italy) back in 2024, where she won a Gold.
We are delighted to see Megan's achievements being celebrated, and from the smile on her face, it looks like she had an amazing day being a local hero!
